Default Rattle?

I have had an APR aftermarket exhaust on my 2007 A3 for several years now but now that I am doing alot of city driving here in LA, I have noticed an annoying rattle from the rear end. My shop (whom I trust) has suggested it is my aftermarket exhaust which doesn't sit entirely tight in the mountings and we have a hard time tightening it snugly effectively. I am tempted to go back to stock it is so annoying and makes the car sound "old" to me. Anyone else experience this? TIA!
