Sorry guys I've been super busy. The a8 is still in the shop and they said it's not suppose to be ready until next week. I guess they need to order some parts out to finish it up. I've been too busy to even stop in. I'm not sure on codes yet, I did buy a new 24-105 f4l lens though so if it's any merit you guys will at least get some decent pictures when they do come.

Yeah, someone backed into the car in a parking garage and drove off so it's getting some body work done at the same time. Basically that's what motivated the swap to s8 tails.

^ You and me both man! Total damages were 5,100$. dented quarter panel, replaced rear bumper and molding, replaced tail-lights, rear trunk was repainted. It was a pretty significant amount of damage.

Just got a price from the seller to ship to Australia. Not bad at all.

As for group buy, I made mention of it in one of my first posts as a way of saying that I was interested. Given that I'm in Australia - makes it a bit difficult to manage. I'll be happy to contact the seller and sort out pricing though as I have a vested interest. But I can't really manage the shipping and payment.

For info, I've sent an email asking for pricing on varying quantities. I'll post on receipt.

nthusiastt - I'll wait to hear what you think before ordering. No rush, nor pressure though.

Why are they a magnet for every f'ing idiot in a crappy car? Just got mine back from the shop after 'Rose, 82, GSOH, ancient Buick' drove right into the back of mine.

Luckily the body shop did an AWESOME job, but even so, FFS.!

Be interested in the tail lights when we get a definitive price...
