Sometimes dealers dont listen

Thanks to this forum i just brought my A6 in for the 5000 mile service. I had typed a letter of the issues that needed correcting including calling the dealer in advance(3 days) about the TSB on the mirror wind noise issue. So he says they will fix that when its in. Long story short they didnt have the parts so this will now become a second trip to fix. Dealers should have floor stock on TSB's or at least order parts when you give them a heads up.

But if this was a perfect world i would be waiting on my new S6

I did not call in advance about TSB but I showed TSB # to them when I arrived, the parts were not in stock & it would take 7 days. I think since it is relatively new TSB parts dept may not have been aware of it. Anyway good thing Audi addressed issue.
