Default SpeedFreak Detailed: S5 Dan's '12 S5!

Hey guys, this is my first post in the Mid Atlantic section, at the recommendation of S5 Dan, who's car is featured below. I'm a pro detailer/car junkie out of Northern VA. Wanted to share some pics of Dan's car, and say hi to all of you. Hope to become a regular here!

I was contacted by S5Dan a month or so about doing a new car prep on his recently acquired S5. Unfortunately our schedules didn't mesh up so well but were finally able to get together last night at Designo in Sterling. Let me just say that I am again impressed with how far Audi has come in the last half decade or so. They build some of the most beautiful vehicles I've ever seen, and Dan's S5 is certainly no exception!! No before pictures, as we didn't get started until almost 7pm, but I'd say the afters look pretty nice!

Products used:

  • Sonax Full Effect wheel cleaner
  • Meguiar's APC
  • Chemical Guys Citrus Wash
  • Pinnacle Speed Clay
  • DoDo Juice Born Slippery clay lube
  • CarPro Iron X
  • Stoner Invisible Glass
  • Blackfire Wet Diamond
  • Poorboy's Wheel Sealant
  • Wolfgang tire shine

That looks like a fantastic job! BTW, when you used Blackfire, did you spread it across the entire car or go panel to panel? How long did you wait until you buffed it off the paint?

With Wet Diamond you don't need to do the entire car then go back and buff, but it certainly doesn't HURT anything if you do. Normally I'll do the hood and buff, do one side and buff, and just work my way around. It is a very easy product to use.
