Since the price guide has yet to be released, I'm not positive, but I think he said it was ~$1,100. I just wasn't a fan of the Alcantara, so I opted for the upgrade.

Just ordered a 2013 A5. Wanted the S Line, but alcantara inserts were the only seat option with the package. An upgrade never was mentioned.

I'm really not sure what you guys are talking about. Look at the order guide that's been posted around this forum. It's the "fine nappa leather upholstery and door armrests" upgrade. Unsure why your dealer did not walk you through each option listed on the order guide...
