Thanks jos! Likewise ...both of your cars look great.
Every time I show my gf your wife's car she tells me "You need to mod me before you mod my car".

So I will know for the future- How long can we expect our rotors to last under normal use? How can you tell if they need to be replaced? Thanks.

Mine would of made it to around 40k miles before they needed to be replaced.
I don't believe I've heard of someone replacing just the pads after that many miles on a B8. Just run your finger along the rotor towards the outside edge and you'll notice a substantial lip. The rotors at that point are done.

What a beautiful Avant!

I just got mine on Tuesday night and already have four things ordered for it. I crossed one off yesterday when my OEM cargo mat arrived. I now have a few more items on my list thanks to you. In particular, the RGM bumper protector is very interesting. I wonder if it will stand out too much on Meteor Gray or if I should just go with clear bra material.

Personally I think the RGM will look great on Meteor and will protect 10X better than the Audi clear film.

Where is available to buy in the U.S.A. the RGM bumper protector ??

I was looking for something similar but I can not find anything other than the clear-Film protection .

Will be nice to have also something similar for the doors .

Not a MOD:

Pair of Yakima Highroller's from http://www.orsracksdirect.com/
These were a Christmas present and this is the first chance I've had to take them out of the box and mount them to the Whispbar racks.
I was pleasantly surprised to see they matched the red/black theme going on with my Avant.
Snapped a few pics in the garage since it was dark out.
