My mechanic claims to have replaced the cooler just two years ago, and now I have oil in my water. does the water also venture futher into the block? I am presuming so, because in a diagnostic mode with the cooler's lines plugged, and the two radiator hoses spliced together with a piece of cooling, the temp reports high, so I am left to presume the system is not getting water to some or all of the block, and no more oil in the water, but i do have some water leaking somewhere Any ideas? #22 is the cooler, #20 is your oil filter...
In my experience this problem can be caused by a leaky head gasket!
