Was at a new job no more than two weeks and had a gal tear my rear bumper from end to end. The whole thing was caught on camera and you can see security running after her and her looking in rear mirror. Had to threaten a hit and run arrest to get it taken care of in the end run. Good Luck!

Good 'tude. Cars and things can be fixed and repaired (granted it sux going through it) people can't be.

I feel for both of you guys. About two weeks ago, Being the car was no less than 10 days new, I parked it front of a hotel and came out to find that a Yukon had backed into my front grill, cracking it.

Now I have to replace it because I'm just **** like that.

*******s are everywhere

Deep condolence, man!

I cannot imagine how angry I will be if this happens to me. You'd like to believe that everyone has something good deep inside, especially this is not some random joe in a parking lot, rather than someone you would bump into in the elevator.

On the other hand, as you said, it is after all (just) thousands of dollars... More money will be made and you will feel better. =) You just have to accept it, not punish yourself over it and hope the guy rot in hell... And he will... life *always* pays back.

yeah, looks like you guys are a lot nicer than i am.

when i was 23 i had a drunk guy hit me at the gate to my condo building, and because i wanted a police report he ended up getting DUI charges. a week later i had "**** you" keyed into both sides of my car. absolutely ridiculous, and stupid since i know what he looks like and what his car looks like.

didn't want back and forth war of attrition on vandalism, and i was young and immature and wanted payback, so i went overboard. one day at 3am i walked out, slashed all 4 of his tires, and put one round of 00 buckshot into the driver's side door and one through the window.

haven't had a problem with him since.

Can't say I would've reacted the same way - even for a guy who's acting like a teenage pr1ck.

That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed that story, and in my estimation, this was a fitting end to said story.

Lol it was actually fairly well thought out, or at least I thought so

This guy demonstrated he was crazy and stupid enough t obviously vandalize my car, clearly with potential for payback

So to avoid further retaliation, just convince them you're crazier than they are

At work my buddy and I were sitting in his car when we saw a guy in a big GMC back into a Miata. He got out of the car, looked and the Miati, got back into the car, and moved his car to the other side of the building.

Yes, we wrote down his Lic plate and gave it to the Miata owner.

Going to take the car in to the shop next week. So a couple of things. If anyone in the CA Bay Area happens to know a good repair shop to take my S4 too & also looking at either having the current stock grey grill painted satin black or should I just buy 1 & sell my grey grill? Also would love to replace it with a honeycomb grill if anyone has any suggestions?

BTW still looking for the Ftard that hit me.
