Understood. Mine was purchased as certified pre-owned, so I didn't get the choice. That ship has sailed. Now, it's all about adding it from the dealer.

dealer is going to rob you... just buy the hitch and wiring and do it yourself. you should be able to do it in two hours or so.

i also just bought a 2010 Sline and need the tow hitch installed. i dont think i am going to trust myself enough to do it myself, so i got a quote prior to purchasing the vehicle. they said around 895 for the parts, and around 650 for labor. hefty, i know, but i want to make sure it just like OEM.

This is the first i heard about running boards not being able to be installed with the tow hitch. mine has the running boards.....am i screwed?
