The Prada Specs were not available when I needed tires last year and I opted for the Yokohama Advan ENVigor. They have performed well for my needs but they are VERY noisy when driving in anything but a straight line. As soon as I turn the wheel they start growling.
They ride even better than the OEM Michelin 235/55-19. Ride is smoother and no road noise. I like them.

My wheels got scratched during the install. They replaced it with a brand new wheel today. They sold me the scratched wheel for $25 since they were going to dump it. Now i have a spare in case i damage one in the future.

Looks good. The designers of the Q5 definitely had dubs in mind when designing the Q5's contours. 18s look downright minuscule, and my 19" OEM 5-arms are barely adequate to fill the space

That comment is about as sharp as his wheels.
I believe my comment of cheap was correct. I don't know of many nearly new scratched wheels that sell for $25.
On the other hand I applaud you for not getting the same wheel as everyone else.

hehe...my comment was funny AND accurate

at least he put decent tires on his wheels...as opposed to CHEAP Hankooks.
Seriously, So many great tire choices out there so why these on your Station Wagon?

The Hankook's will probably outlast the overpriced Pirelli garbage that came with my car AND perform just as well in everyday driving conditions.
Why spend $350 for a tire when you will use only 50% of its potential?

If I was tracking the car it would be a different story.
In that case id have lightweight wheels and a BBK.

BTW I was told by my service adviser that some of the Hankooks are now being recognized as an Audi accepted tire. Don't be surprised if you start seeing them on the 2013's.

Totally agree with your point MonzaAvant, "Why spend $350 for a tire when you will use only 50% of its potential" I have it on my Q5 almost 2 years now, still love it,

Well said!! One of the best tires I've ever used. I've used hankooks for the past 7 years on 5 different Audi's zero issues.

Oh, I got it now. Buying a cheap or "cheap looking" wheel = bad
buying a cheap or inexpensive tire = good

For a minute there I was thinking you were being hypocritical. Thanks for clearing that up, MOFSTEEL.
Hey, at least you didn't tell him his wheels were "ghetto"...or "junk".

^Haha ...too funny.

Nice apples and oranges comparison you made. For a second you thought you had a point.
