Default VMR wheels

A friend of mine has an S6 and is trying to sell me a set of wheels that he bought but didn't fit his car. The wheels didn't fit around his RS6 breaks so he's offering them to me for 700 for a set of 5 brand new VMR wheels. Had anyone had any experience with these wheels before or know anything about them?

I haven't but I would recommend you take a measuring tape/stick and ensure that 1" out from the VMR's hub there is at least 2" of clearance before you hit the spokes. Unless you have spacers. The front calipers on our S4 protrudes about 2" past the hub. I got a good deal on some wheels, brought them home and they didn't clear the calipers. =(

Depending on the ET the wheels might fit. I was running VMRs for a while and loved them. Best way to see if they fit is to... try them on the car.

What size and offset? VMR claims that their wheels are BBK compatible. The 19's I'm getting will clear a stoptech 380mm set up.
