Default 5th gear boost surge 12psi-15psi

it holds at 18 1-3 15psi in 4th and then flexs between 12psi and 15psi in 5th, i'm not quite sure what it is... I don't think its a boost leak so idk? any ideas?

Hey. I don't know squat about boost controllers but maybe you can set different values for different gears but I doubt it. I would start by checking all vacuum lines to and from the controller and wastegate and the wastegate diaphragm. Also maybe give greddy customer service a call. Another consideration might be that the Ecu is limiting boost somehow through the controller (idk?) because of a rise in intake/coolant temps. Does it behave like this even with the water/meth setup replenished?

Last recommendation: join motorgeek and repost these questions. EFI is the life-force for the majority of vehicles over there.

Vacuum leak most likely. but use a fog machine to find that leak.
