The repairs totaled $1800.00. The policy cost me $3400.00. The only reason I bought the policy was on advise as how unreliable these cars were. More so the electrical than anything else. The three problems the dealer fixed for me on the warranty policy I could have easily done myself. But after paying that much for something I was about to take a bath on, I figured I might as well get something out of it. So far it looks like most of the problems people have with these cars is stuff I can fix. May take some research and time though. Engine and trans would maybe be the exception, but those 2 components are pretty bullit proof. I guess I really don't have one complaint about the car. Probably helps to have been a gearhead all my life.

My repair cost was $956 for the part and $378 labor. I paid $150 deductible. The rest was covered by warranty company.

The warranty policy cost was $2,800.
