odd
With the auto up / auto down remote key program the sunroof will close if the LOCK button is held for a period of time. Is your lock button sticking? maybe try locking with another remote. |

Nope. I don't use the keyfob buttons b/c I have an aftermarket car starter installed.
Something is definitely fishy though b/c over the weekend I've noticed that occassionaly the sunroof will stay tilted up, and once I noticed it tilted down while I was driving still! Good old german electronics / engineering.

You may need a new sunroof switch. Mine would tilt on its own and then return. Started doing it once when entering a car wash. Luckily it closed back up in time. A new switch and the ghosts went away.

DeOxit on the sunroof switch may cure it. I had a similar issue on my B5 Passat.

I think we figured it out. Has to do with what Kristopher was saying earlier. I've determined it only actually happens when I lock the car w/ my aftermarket key fob (I have a car starter installed).
So, it looks like the aftermarket unit is taking too long to lock my doors, to the point where the convenience package module is triggered and my sunroof starts to close partially. I think there is a way to disable that feature in vag-com, so if I can, i'll just do that b/c I never use that feature anyways.. Or if not, then I'll just use my keyfob more.
