Here are some of mine.

Some were taken at the same location as Basarab took. Mine are evening photos while his were in the morning. Hence the radical difference in colors.

That's the Michigan Central Railroad depot and office tower featured in the photos:

Directly behind the car is the place Tiger Stadium once stood. The white "fence" by the car's A pillars is the newer (circa 1980) fence added when a food plaza was added. That fence and the flag & Pole (by the car's C pillar) is the only thing that remains of the stadium that once stood at "Michigan and Trumbull".

That's the Motor City Casino Hotel tower in the background. A bit of trivia, the casino itself is housed in the former Wagner Baking Company building that was the Wonder Bread factory for the region. The building was retrofitted and reused a little over ten years ago.

Just a word about camera shots:

"A Dutch tilt is a camera shot in which the camera angle is deliberately slanted to one side. This can be used for dramatic effect and helps portray unease, disorientation, frantic or desperate action, intoxication, madness, etc".

So is it intoxication?

Ballykid took most of the photos. He definitely did the tilted shots to mimic Basarab's original photos in the same location. He was sober.

Here's mine in Fort Lauderdale (Florida) last week. We went to watch a cruise ship go out to sea in a place recommended by a cop, turned out to be a little park under the bridge.

I know I'm preaching to the choir but I love this car! After a 10 hour drive one arrives feeling relaxed. Of course I did have the little woman drive through Atlanta, I'm sure that helped...

That is my 11-year old in the front seat, the "little woman" is not that little.

I will have some better pictures soon (when the sun shines) but generally, my pics suck so they will not be any better.
