Group Buy is: ACTIVE A few of us were talking about a group buy on the VBOX PerformanceBox so I contacted VBOX USA to get the terms set up and I've posted everything below. Hopefully we can get enough interest and enough users to save ourselves a good amount of money. It looks like we can save over $110 each if enough people sign up. We have 5 commitments so far with 2-3 people that are 'maybes'. The order will shipped on or about May 2, 2012. If we are really close to getting to the next price level, the group buy can be extended a few more days. To join the group buy, you will have to pay here. You won't be charged anything, but the money will be held by MassDrop. Once the group buy is over, then you will be charged the final amount. We actually have to pay VBOX $15 per unit for them to ship directly to individual people (plus the cost of shipping). They usually ship big orders to companies so this isn't something they usually do. So shipping is about $15, but we have to pay the extra $15 per unit, which will bring total shipping to $30. Hopefully we can get enough people so the price is $440 per unit and this becomes less of an issue.
