Default To those with Symphony II and an iPod adapter

Tried to install my Enfig iPod adapter (Enfig house brand as recommended by their tech folks), everything is good until I tried to slide my headunit back.

http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_VWT_CIP_AUX.html

I have all the wiring complete, tested, and tucked away in what space is available behind the HVAC and the sides. However the actual box of the iPod adapter is preventing the headunit from clipping back in.

Where did you all tuck this box? Be it the Dice, Dension, USA Spec or etc?

Thanks!
