Default brake dust on front wheels. solution needed please

so... four months now with the car with 2000 miles. the wheels! more specifically, the brake dust. at first i believed it was just a brake in thing for the pads. but after so much time and bi weekly car washes, it remains consistent - absolutely disgusting to look at.

what solutions have you come across that work best for maintaining a clean wheel?

Ive tried a few foam sprays, i ve tried the local car wash add on "wheel coating" i have recently placed a 5 gallon bucket at the top of my drive way with cleaner and a brush ready to use upon each trip home.

there's got to be a better way.

thanks,

I agree. I always use it at every wash.
It will keep the wheels acceptable for a week. (which is 600 miles for me)

I agree. I use it on my S4 wheels which normally get filthy in less than a week. 4 days. I still dont know how much to use though and I probably use too much. I am a bit suspiious that washing your wheels during a car wash removes it. AUDI service washd my car las time it was in and I think the product came off because the wheels were dirty after a short time

Great product and great suggestion. It WILL solve your problem.

p.s. the brake dust problem was far worse (in multiples!) on the front wheels versus the rear. Any idea why?

Yeah, most of your breaking is done with the front wheels. This is also why the disc up front are bigger.
