Default Valve Stem Oil Seals

I have a 1990 CQ that I am about to attempt replacing the stem seals. Does anyone have any advice or direction?

Are you planning on doing it with the head still on the block?

Much easier with the head off IMO. Though I've never tried with it on as it's enough of a PITA with it removed even w/ the proper tools. You'll a need valve spring compressor, a pair seal removal pliers and a suitable tool to install the new seals. Obviously it would also be a good idea to have the head decked or at the least very checked for warpage by a good machine shop.
A valve job wouldn't hurt either. Other than that maybe check youtube for some videos on how to replace valve stem seals.
