If other control modules fail, it can cause issues with the Data bus. From checking bulletins, there is one saying the cd changer, radio amplifier, telephone transceiver, or audio music interface module are possible culprits. Say to unplug each one and see if symptom disapears. Symptoms include jumping around, not reading cds, no audio, no telephone, no response, freezing, blank out, and more. Good luck, seems to be alot of software updates for the system too. And Water leaks into the trunk where alot of these modules are located.
