A quick review.
I put these in my 2002 S6 Avant. This is a daily driven car - not a track car. I have one of those. While it is clearly stiffer than OEM S6 ( and presumably a lot stiffer than the Buick-like A6) this is a comfortable system. High frequency crashing on rough surfaces is moderate - maybe as low as stock. Control over larger undulations is clearly better. The nose follows undulations more than stock - but that's control; comes with the territory. I have it at nearly maximum height, maybe 1/2" below ST's recommended maximum. This corresponds to about 0.7" below S6 stock; whcih is turn is 20mm (0,8") below A6 stock. Note this contradicts ST's guidance - each car and model may vary. I would not want it lower than this for normal driving, or for snow. That said you have tons of threading, btu to preserve valve and piston integrity you can safely go up about 1/2" from where i am, or down > 1" more. That would be slammed. The handling is much better. Lowering alone reduces pitch dive and roll - physics dictates that. The hgiher rate springs further help, without being too harsh (so long as you liek a firm, performance ride). Dampers may be slightly under-damped - that may be how they achive this. It is nto noticed on large undulations, btu then car comes to rest it almost jiggles to rest. No biggie, just a clue. Overall i'm very happy with the quality, ride, and performance. Within ST's guidelines you can also set this hgih enough for nearly anyone, and too low for your own good. You'll never get it aligned below where i am! As it is I have ~ -1.5 deg camber as it is. Good for handling, not so much for inner tire edge wear. For serious track use i might want more damping - e.g.; KW V1 (V2?) G
