2010 Audi a8 4.2 tdi lane assist

Hi can anyone tell me how to activate this on my car in the manual it say it's on the indicator stock but my car has not got this button I have spec checked the car with Audi and they say the cars got it is there a different button on early cars??

If yours is a MY 2010, then it's a D3 platform. Even so, the Lane Assist "on/off" button is located on the end of the turn signal indicator stalk for both D3 and the current D4 vehicles. Audi Lane Assist became available on MY 2008 for U.S. vehicles.

It's a d4 new shape reg June 2010 it does not have the button on the turn signal stalk but according to Audi and the spec check it does have it fitted as a factory fit option.

Don't know of any alternative locations for the Lane Assist on/off button. You need to consult your dealership on this one. If your car does have this option, you should be easily able to see the forward-looking camera to the lane line detection---it's located directly in front of the rear-view mirror.
