Getting my 88' 80Q back on the road after a 4 year hibernation. When I was replacing my fuel hardlines I noticed the center bearing was sagging. No surprise for a 310,000 mile car. So I want to rebuild the shaft (rather than Audi give me "the shaft" for a new one). I was able to locate the end bearings (no boots) from GKN/Loebro, and the middle support bearing from 034 motorsport. I just need the middle joint and the boots for the end bearings. Now I called Blau and they no longer have the rebuild kits for the 80Q. But they did list end bearings for models from 84-02 or something like that. It seemed like they covered every model except the 80/90 series. Does the B3 share propshaft components with any other model. I most surely thought that the early 80 models might share the same drivetrain as the 4000. Any help is appreciated. Thanks gang!
