I would bring it to your local Audi dealer. It may be covered under warranty. They will probably replace crankcase valve and pipe (not applicable for all 2.0L) from turbo to valve cover (RVU 17D9).

Those torques screws aren't used for anything on the valve cover that would leak. They are used to hold the plastic cover onto the aluminum valve cover. The valve cover is held on by 10mm nuts (and a 10mm bolt or two don't competely remember) I seriously think the oil cap gasket is weeping oil and that's all cause when they get some age on them they do and its not hard or expensive to replace it to see if that's the problem.

Mine were damp exactly like the pic and after wiping dry multiple times, damp yet again. After retorqueing those screws on mine it has been dry ever since. (they were not torqued to spec when damp on mine) Coincidence, I think not. Oil cap gasket has always been dry. Re-torqueing to spec will hurt and cost nothing, is easiy to do. If they are loose of course oil can seep from there. I use mine as an example.

whatever really I think you guys should just take it to a real automotive tech and let them look at it instead of running around in the dark. I don't think its the torques screws, but think what you want. Have fun with your constant oil problems the audi 4 cylinders have, I know how fun they are to sort out lol.

"Whatever" is right. This forum is about helping people. I have this exact engine and situation and re-torquing fixed it. We know you "don't think its the torques screws" but I know it was on mine. I only post on things I am sure about, you may want to try that if you want to be more helpful. Enjoy whatever it is you are working on or driving.

I haven't tried tightening the screws yet, as I'm going to let the gasket place the dealer did settle in. Thanks for the input all. So far, there is no new leaking after the service call. They replaced two gaskets under warranty, but by the description on the paperwork, it's impossible to figure out where. I should have asked, and will the next time I'm in.

Be more helpful.....hmm I listed other possible this it could have been and explained my reasoning so that makes me less helpful that was makes sense and we all know "you think it is the torque screws''Be but think what you want and don't belittle someone for trying to help out. To be truthful the best thong he could have done and did was take of to a dealer and/or a good mechanic instead of asking online cause that normally works out so well. But any who I will take some of your advised and go have fun with my S4
