Default Parktronic question

In my Panamera the front parking sensors were active all the time. So when I pulled in parking space and the parking breaker could damage the front the sensors would beep.

In the A8 it looks like the sensors only get active in reverse gear. I have to manually turn them on when pull in a parking space.

Is there a way to keep them on permanently?

Mir.

that might be a good question for the ross-tech folks, otherwise you have the switch on your dash you can hit. I know the module goes to sleep when you reach a certain speed, not sure if you can adjust that to let say 250kph. If you can pull that they would be on pretty much all the time once engaged.

On mine, the front sensors are like your Panamera. However, they seem to be aimed relatively high; they don't detect the low concrete parking barricades. Could it be the volume setting is incorrect in the MMI ?
