Bose aftermarket HU issues (TT Mk2, RNS-E)

Bose aftermarket HU issues (TT Mk2, RNS-E)

I'm replacing my RNS-E with an aftermarket head unit. Everything works fine, except the Bose amp won't turn on, so no sound.

car - TT Mk2 with RNS-E and Bose speakers (amplified)
harness - Connects2 CTSAD002
HU - JVC KW-AV60BT

- I checked every harness connection with a multimeter for continuity.
- I verified the remote lead was 12V at the car end of the harness, everything plugged in, with the car and HU on.
- I verified the HU output by connecting a portable powered speaker to the RCA pre-outs.
- Everything else works, including steering controls.
- I plugged the RNS-E back in, and the speakers work fine.

So, everything points to the amp not powering on. As I said, the car is seeing 12V off the remote lead. Is there a special pin that needs to be connected. Does the Bose amp expect >2V on the pre-outs?

Any ideas?
