My holes are clear but I wash my brakes and rotors along with the wheels.

Just did my first brake job! The front was cake but the rear is a tad bit of a battle. RS4Ship, I'm pretty sure I spent about 10 miles on route 7 tonight with your buddy with the M3 and gold rims next to me. Took every bit of self control I have to not get into it with him!

Ha, ya there can't be too many Black M3's on Gold 20's. He probably would have run with you if there was an opening in traffic. I would have liked to see that one.

I registered for VIR, can't freaking wait! I'm going to throw in the XP10 pads and Motul 600 fluid this weekend.

He was holding his wheel tight like he was waiting for me.lol We were next to each other at lights a couple times..... You have officially become a track junkie! Are you doing the Audi event at VIR in April or the May trackdaze one? I'm gonna come out as well. Hopefully I'll also get to run with Prosche club next weekend since my clutch break-in is coming along pretty well. 215 miles in my first 36 hours!

FYI, if you put the XP-10s on this early you will absolutely hate ur life. I bedded mine and even had about a dozen laps at the track, but still with low speed braking they are SO LOUD! It's worse than when someone digs their nails into a chalk board. People were staring at me all yesterday so I finally had to swap them out. Most embarrassing experience ever!

I'm doing the event on April 16th-17th. I'm hooked man, freaking loved it.

I drove a CRX with straight pipes for 3 years, I can handle squicky brakes on my RS4 My only other option is to wait until I'm down there, and then rely on someone to help me since I don't plan on brining a torque wrench and a jack and what not to do all this myself. Are you volunteering to help?

I'm bringing a wrench and a jack. I'd say maybe put in the rears since they are more of a hastle and then leave the fronts for the track. Should at least keep the noise to a bearable level. I'm telling you, you've never heard squeal like this before! I'll help you after I get mine on. Will you still be in the green group or did they say you can move up? VIR is a tad intimidating with such high speeds but it should be fun.

I only have fronts, they didn't have rears in stock when I ordered them. Running StopTech in the rear, actually maybe I'll search around and see if I can find XP-10's for the rear as well. How did you like them on the track BTW?

Thats no problem then. 20 minutes a wheel max. Well I only got 10 laps and was still working my way deeper into the braking zone. They felt pretty phenomenal. Make sure you have a second set of rears bc there's no way even a new set of stop techs will survive 2 days.

Default I agree

I also had a problem with the stock pads screws making grooves in my rotors. I went with the zeckhausen pads and they have been awesome. Good solid braking and WAY less dust.

I suggest you take a look at the Zeckhausen Racing website. Dave Z. knows more about brakes than anybody I know plus he's honest and fair.
