What window tint percentage 35% or 15%? - Page 2

Thanks for the input folks - esp.the pics! I ended up going with 50% on the drivers windows (as state laws don't really allow any tint on front windows)& 35% everywhere else. Very subtle transition, and just might keep the law away.

It looks great! Dark enough, thanks to dark interior & factory tint, but light enough to maneuver.

Next up for next week- H-Sports! This is getting addictive...

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread, but is it still illegal to have any tint on the front (driver / passenger) windows here in IL?

I just talked to a guy at a tint shop and he said it's not an issue. I don't want to get pulled over for tint (done enough of that with no front license plate on my last car) but I would much rather tint the fronts as, like has been said before, the minivan look is lame-o.

Anybody ever use Z-Tech in the Naperville area?
