Slight engine hesitation around 2800rpm...

Anyone else have this or have suggestions as to the cause...? It's from about 2800 to 2900.

i know im resurecting an old post, but has this been fixed? if so what is the problem?

My car is running really nice, exept for slight hesitation around 2000 - 2600 rpm's. Air leak possibly? i know my intake boot has been through alot of rough times
