Default DVD/Nav install question

Howdy All,
New to the forum and have been looking around but haven't found exactly what I'm looking for so I aplogize if this has already been covered just mark it up to me being a newb.
To the point...
My wife has a C6 A6. When we bought it we where told it has Nav but no disk we bought it and they ordered a new nav disk. When it arrived and I went to put it in there was no dvd in the trunk. I know should have checked, i'm a sucker. Called "Audi" and they verified the car was never equiped w/ dvd. I was wondering since the mount & pluggins seem to all be there if I would beable to just pluge on in and go or if there would be more to it. Don't need to turn it into a huge ordeal but dealer said they would try to make it right just short of putting severalgrnd into an entire system. Would like to get something for the wife that doesn't require any extra/new screens.
Thanks for any and all help.
