Default A4 B5 1.8T, tiptronic Shifting?

I have an A4 1.8T year:2000 tiptronic.

At what Rpm per gear should I shift(in tiptronic) for maximum acceleration?

and will tiptronic shifting acceleration be faster
then on automatic and just pedal to the metal?

the only thing tiptronic is really for is, manual shifting of your transmission. there wont be any power difference. its like the other gearboxes that have 1, 2, and then drive.

Just leave her floored in S mode and it will be about as fast as it can. Really the 1.8T B5 cars are way underpowered anyway so who cares, lol. Drive it and get 30mpg.

To be able to switch gears like a manual car without having to do clutch work.

thats why in the later years 02+ the a4 came with the PRNDS and not PRND432.

use the tip and not the 432. not that i know if there are any different.

dont drive the tip like a maniac. it will end up biting you in the butt!
