Default I'm gonna buy an RS4 and I'm clueless.

Hello everyone!
I have an urge to buy an 07'or 08' RS4 and I would like to know what kind of things I should look out for. So far I have read that the shock absorbers may leak at the top and there may be a carbon build-up if the vehicle hasn't been runnin for a while. Think anyone can hook me up with some tips?
It would be appreciated, thank you : )

All of the RS4's with leaky shocks were fixes through the recall, you will get carbon build up on intake valves over time if car sits or driven hard

Spend the time on the RS4 forum and read back through the years to see the history of the car and whose advice you like. For sure you want an independent inspection of the car by some shop that has experience with RS4s.
