on and off red highlight of gears on screen=
1. can be low voltage from the battery...replace battery 2. "limp home mode" for the transmission...has the trans every had a fluid flush from the dealer, not jiffy lube. That may resolve the trans issue. The fulid is not lifetime as the dealer previouly claimed. 3. failing trans... The trans fluid is a unique blend only from the dealer or ZF direct. I did use Mobil 1 ATF with no issues. I currently have 140k miles on my '04 S4. Hope this helps! |
