BMW x3 with 4 cylinder turbo will start at $37,995 including destination. Pros and cons for 2013 X3 4 cylinder vs 2012 Q5 2.0T + power tailgate standard + pick only the options I want such as the rear view camera without paying a bundle - interior isn't as nice

I think it's safe to assume you can add fuel economy to the list of pluses, too. Considering the new 2.0 turbo four is rated at 36 on the highway in the 3 Series, I would expect something close to 30 for the same engine in the X3. It's also quite a bit quicker than the NA inline six. Sadly, they still refuse to address the run flat tires. For me that would mean allowing another grand to buy and mount "real" tires. Aside from that it is a compelling package.
