My strong suggestion is to stay roughly OEM. Stopping power is, to me, irrelevant because it is not a limiting factor - press harder, get more stop. Heat is the limiting factor, and for that you will LOSE initial friction. Dust is largely a by-product of friction.
I went the route of Hawk HPS once. What a fiasco. They achieve what you want, but via a chemical deposition onto the rotor. If that layer is inconsistent, let's just say the results are disastrous. Never again. Some like the Centric Posi-quiet pads, which are OEM like. Some people like ceramic, but they generally have very low ultimate performance - e.g.: they wont survive high temperatures. So what's the point? G
