Default Untitled Jersey City Project: Two Moody, Moving and Mystifying Minutes

by Jason Giacchino

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Untitled Jersey City Project for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Untitled Jersey City Projectis a collaboration between FX and Audi, and the edgy work-in-progress series is an intriguing mash-up of television and marketing. Equal parts “Sopranos” and “Mad Men,” it can be described in a lot of ways, but about the only thing you can’t call it is a car commercial—and that’s exactly how Audi wants it.

In this, the second episode, we're given a brisk two-minute look into the lives of some of the staple characters. It opens with an attractive blonde making out with a handsome man in a car—a 2012 Audi A6 if the half-second long exterior shot is to be trusted—in a dimly lit parking area. Once she mentions what she’s doing is probably unprofessional, another man appears and smashes the car’s window in a swirl of screaming, chaos and broken glass. We then flash back 32 hours, where we first meet the blonde, the man in the car, and a pair of other individuals.

From there, as they say, the plot thickens, and we get a little more background—along with some less-than-subtle hints that all is not right in Jersey City.

Those looking for solid conclusions, straight-up Audi auto ****, or Snooki in booty shorts need not apply, but everyone else ought to consider giving the series a look. It'll undoubtedly get people talking.

What do you think about this series? Watch this clip and let me know!
