Default Audi S1 Quattro Group B Replica @ Rechberg Hillclimb 2011

Hi Guys,

Long time no posting, since I've sold my TT some time ago, but anyway...

I'd like to share a recent video of Audi S1 Quattro Group B replica, racing @ the Rechberg 2011 Hillclimb race in Austria (last week):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vI-zKCUDjXs

P.S. Quite a monster, 700+ HP, unfortunately running with slick tires on very wet and with rain tires on dry (due to the very long start list and constantly changing weather conditions).

That looks like one fast ride. The footage most have covered the weekend, with rain on some parts of the hill and dry on other portions of the climb. so I should target building a 700hp cross flow motor?

Yep, this engine has nice potential :-) The initial setup was close to 1000HP, but not quite suitable for hillclimb races...
Here you could check a pictures gallery about making/building the car:

Love the build, great job! The struts are work of art.
Top notch workmanship.

Thanks for sharing.
