Default help with decision on K04 upgrade

Basically here is the situation, currently i have a 2001 A4 1.8tqms with the following:
apr cat back
bailey DV
GIAC X chip
Samco Hoses
APR snub mount
My turbo is dying on my and have hunted down a K04. I dont know how to proceed from here. I wanted to stick with GIAC and upgrade my program for $150 bucks at induktion. Then i was gonna have NGP install my turbo and 5.0bar FPR(apparently i need this for the basic GIAC program) i dont want to go to the hammer file cause i just dont have to money. my dilema is that i have heard awful things about the basic K04 program from GIAC. Lots of problems with surging and overboosting.

So i have looked into Unitronic. I havent heard of them until recently but hear good things, only problem is that i will need to buy new injectors (tt225 380cc or Siemens 380cc) which is about $250 and the program is $600 bucks since its not an upgrade.

all that plus the price of install. Please give me some sugestions. i am leaning toward the GIAC basic K04 program because of cost but am concerned that im not gonna be happy with the results.

thanks,
brad

Default Just go with GIAC for now

and if your not too happy you can upgrade when you can. But i think yoy should upgrade your injectors either way(my opinion)

Default Software

It is expensive to switch over to the unitronic stage II+, but they are an awesome company to work with. I switched from revo to them about eight months ago and can't complain at all. The only problem I ran into with the software and my ko4 setup is that I got the white bosch 380cc injectors and I just found out that this is the reason my car runs like poo on start up and high rpm. Audi tt225 injectors or the blue bosch 380cc injectors are the correct ones for my awd engine. I am actualy a vw guy, but its all audi except for the body! Also if you get a chance look into the frankenturbo.com website and thier K04 setup, not sure if you have a long or trans mounted turbo.
