Default i5 swap?

I have a '95 Audi 90 with a 12v 2.8l V6. Eventually, I'd like to swap a 20v i5 into it. I know lots of people have done this. What should I look for when searching for these engines? I'm not mechanically that savvy, but I luckily have a friend who will pretty much work on my car for free because he loves it. ANY advice of any kind would be greatly appreciated.

Well they're rare enough that you shouldn't pass one up, just make sure you get a good price. You should rebuild it before dropping it anyway IMO.
