Default High pitched squeal from S3 Bose speakers

G'day from Aus everyone. I have bought a new MY10 S3 5 door sportback (right hand drive). There is an extremely annoying high-pitched squeal that comes from all speakers except the speaker in the bottom of the front passenger door. The squeal is loudest from the speaker in the bottom of the rear passenger door. The squeal has a regular pattern, coming on for 4 seconds every 30 seconds or so. It comes on and off in this pattern whenever the engine is running and the sound system (Symphony) is turned on. Neither the pitch nor the volume of the squeal alters with engine or road speed. It happens on both radio and CD. It does not happen when the engine is not running. So I can only enjoy the stereo when the car is stopped and the engine if off! My Audi dealer hasn't any answers after 5 months of trying. Sorry this post is so long. Any help would be appreciated.

Did the dealer try replacing the factory Bose Amp? It's deffinately not a ground loop problem cause your squeal doesn't change with the engine RPM.

Success! Audi Centre Sydney (Scott Maynard and Brad Bowerman) have developed a solution - replace the existing wiring between the head unit and the amp with new, shielded wiring. This was done on my car yesterday in Canberra and now my stereo works perfectly.
