Default MAF - Maxed out - Upgrade options?

Hi guys,

My RS6 has maxed out the MAF's and was wondering what options there are for upgrades?

The MAF's are 3" and I dont have room for 3.5" units from the B5 RS4, and was wondering if anyone has any other ideas?

Can Nissan Z32 AFM's be adapted?

Thanks

If your MAF is truly maxed i.e. the wire is breaking due to velocity of air then your only choice is to use a larger tube. IF you have taken any screens or baffles out of the immediate vicinity of the MAF then you may have changed the airflow char. and may be better off with them. Having said that, look at some of the early 90's Audi 5 cyl HP engines and the Porsche in the same ranges. I seem to remember sizes from 3-4 inches in 1/4" increments- available overseas if you had a parts number. Look up Dialynx in the UK and they may help. Some remapping of your ECU will have to be done to scale volume changes but if you have a hopped up RS6 you will have talked to tuners and will know this - I hope. Come to think of it call MTM in Germany or google MTM, they have an English site and will have what you need - all the way up to more than anyone needs.
