Am I a candidate for an MMI update?

I'm having some issues with a mObridge unit and thought that (in a hail-mary kind of way) that an MMI update might solve the problem.

Here's my current MMI information:

SW - C6-HU 46.1.0.0805
HW - C6-HU 6303D2.0

FCSW 05071AFC6AB320060
FC PS 0060
FC HW H02

How current is this version, and... would I gain anything with an upgrade?

no quick fix here, looks like you have 46.10 - latest greatest...

first mObridge install I've heard of, very interesting - I briefly looked into them while considering Dension, AMI retrofit options.

What was the deciding factor for you, and how has the experience been?

I looked at the other unit but had problems finding a US supplier; when I found mObridge I did a bit of research and it seemed to be a pretty solid choice.

Unfortunately dealing with the tech support has been a mixed experience; on the phone they're not too bad... via email it can be like pulling teeth to get a direct answer to my questions. They seem to be very confused with the problem I'm having; I get the feeling that their current 'solutions' are really nothing more than guesses, which is a bit frustrating. To be fair, they indicate that they've sold a a lot of these units for Audi installations and haven't run across my problem. Who knows?

I'll continue to update this forum with my experiences, but so far I have to say that I would NOT advocate this solution. If they can pull themselves together and solve my problem I'd be a lot happier!

Sorry to hear the experience has been less than ideal so far; from what I recall, they seemed to have a bunch of potential for a solid alternative. When I was doing my research, they appeared to be eager to establish themselves as an aftermarket Audi solution but were really new at that point. Having dealt with some 'growing/maturation pains' in a Dension solution on a prior Audi, I was a bit less willing to be an early adopter this time around.

Hopefully you have a local mObridge dealer/distributor who can run interference and/or help escalate getting you solutions for what you're experiencing...

At this point I'd have to say I'm really unimpressed - I wouldn't advocate anyone buying the mObridge unit.
