well i ended up using an orange fram filter. It had to be done. i was WAY past due on a change. When i'm in vancouver in a couple weeks i'll pick up a better filter. but unitl now it'll have to do. I did put valvoline full synthetic in there. now the weathers warming and i'm finding my cars really heating up. So i have to do a flush and refill. how hard is that to do on the coolant systems in these cars?

Not awful. You need to pull the coolant hose off the bottom of the radiator and have a drain pan ready to go. There is no drain fitting...
