Default Clutch Master Cylinder...does it have to be bled...

do i have to bleed it and if so how can i go about doing this, once the new cylinder has been installed?? thanks

bench fill it then bleed like brakes but via the slave port if like typ 44s.

what do you mean bench fill it??, and i dont think i have a bleeder on the slave, it might be a diff model then what you guys are talking about.

I mean make sure it has fluid in the actual cylinder before you reinstall it. It should make the bleed process go a little faster.(by the book means also making sure the MC piston rod is adjusted to the correct length before install) If you have an UrS4 or S6 then your bleed valve is on your clutch slave cylinder. If your not familiar with how to bleed a hydraulic system, maybe this is best left to another.
