Setting up Polks with a Marantz SR6003 - Would you do it the "Polk Way"?

The original Polk manual instructs that I wire the speaker front outputs to the sub, and then from the sub run the satellite fronts. Also instructing the receiver that I do not have a sub and that I have large speakers.

the other alternative is to hook them up traditionally.

Thoughts?

do it the normal way. sub out.... front speakers left and right out.
