Default Bay Area - Diablo Audi

I just had to post this story. It's so sad. So I was taking my BMW to get it's windshield replaced and thought I'd kill time by going over to the Audi dealership (Still a huge fan). They're are a few cops walking around but I thought they were just looking at the cars. Then I walk closer to all there RS4's, S8's and noticed they have ALL been keyed!!! Then I continue to walk around and noticed EVERY car on their lot was vandalized!!! I mean every car. Every new A4, TT, A8, A6, Q7 you name it, it have been keyed on all surfaces. It really did make me sick to my stomach. Anyways. I hope the bastard's who did that get caught!!!

Wow, that's bad to hear. I was planning to go there tomorrow. I'm down to the wire choosing between an A4 and a G37. Will go there and find out what happened.

Default One of the worst vandalism cases I've ever seen

Yes, every single car on the lot...several dozen, including special cars like a blue RS4 and their used car inventory, was keyed. Not just a single key mark on the cars...they were keyed all over. Really sickening.

Apparently the teenagers that did it went down the street to do the same thing at BMW, where they were caught after getting a few cars.

I imagine the parents will be footing the bill for the re-paints. These cars will all have to be repainted...the key damage is so bad that several sections of each car will have to be done.

Very interesting carrera96. I'm so glad the kids got caught. Wasn't it sad to see EVERY car new and used destroyed! They even got the Mercury's! But i agree, one of the worse cases of vandalism I've ever seen.

Default With that many cars, any guesses as to a dollar sum?

If I were in charge, I'd make the kids pay for every penny. Even if it took them 30 years to work it off. Sick

Default No idea how much $$$, but also keep in mind that...

the entire inventory with repaints has suffered a decline in value relative to cars without repaints. Each car now has a "story" that needs to be told down the road when a current buyer decides to sell the car. Really sucks for the dealership and the sales guys there...

Default I just talked to Diablo

Every car except for 3-4 lucky ones were not hit. This is a million dollar insurance claim...to be sure. The body shops are scrambling for this repair business. Probably 70 new cars..and 30 used cars were damaged. Including customer cars in for service. This is a very big deal.
