Some pictures of my tinted, hardwired V1 and orange peeled S5. Phantom Black
I looked really hard and what do you know... some orange peels on my paint. It may have been clementine peels, but I could see it easily. Audi surely needs to improve their car painting techniques. As seen in the first picture. The tint was supposed to be 40% but reads at 32%.

The pictures aren't very good quality, i took them from my phone, and then posted them to the picture poster which made them smaller.

Great pics for a cell phone. Tint looks very nice on black. I haven't decided
if I will tint the windows yet because I'd like to be able to see the interior from outside. I might try to hold off as long as possible or at least until the hot temperatures return.

Re: Looks great (looks familiar... heh). How did the dash reassembly go?
i had someone install it for me.. i don't trust myself with german car wiring systems. as easy as it may be, i didn't want to go near the airbags... little plastic snaps i might break, or optic wires.
It went terribly though - the guy cut his hand and put a nick in my gauge surround - they're supposed to replace it for me when/if the part comes in. i haven't paid them, but they didn't want me to until it was settled. It took less than an hour so i'm wondering if the dash will cost more than the work.. probably about 50 bucks.

I wasn't thinking that *you* did the dash. I like to DIY but I'd never want to do a dash R&R.
I bet it went terribly, and that sucks that they have to do it again because of the nick.
