Default My TT is in STaSIS - Warning - Not for the faint of heart...

What's happening to my TT? It's something from STaSIS... but it's not just the standard suspension or brakes.

Should be picking this up tomorrow and will post my impressions then. The work is being done by the fantastic people at Penske Audi West Covina.

Thanks to Nate for taking the pictures.

300 hp and 290 ft-lb torque, DSG safe, GIAC programing, butter smooth, and comes with a 1 year/15K STaSIS warranty on the complete power plant from intake to flywheel.

Oh, and this too...

The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic... Default Amazing! If i was in Nor-Cal I would have taken them up on that offer a few months ago...

the K04 twin scroll is THE turbo to have for this car.

Are you getting an LSD? With my stock turbo and giac 91 x I can light up the tires in 2nd gear if I hammer the gas anywhere below 5k rpms.

Default No LSD yet. Will have that done by STaSIS when I'm next in Sonoma...

I'm thinking of going to the 2-day Audi R8 experience in Sonoma, so I figure I'll leave the TT with STaSIS and have the LSD added.

I'm in So-Cal, and STaSIS just worked with my Audi dealer and sent them the kit. It's all very OEM so it's easy to install and can be maintained by the dealer.

When I first got the GIAC, it was lighting up the tires, but I've improved my throttle modulation so it's not been a big problem of late.

The tough part, even with stock programing, was the off the line spins. I was so use to my 03TT and the need to tip in the throttle more to spin up the turbo, that I was braking the tires loose on the 08. Given that the 2.0T is so responsive, I had to remind myself not to tip in so much.
