Default R8 caught in LA during video shoot

Not clear if it was a commercial or if it was a movie - the forum says commercial at first but a later post says it was filming for Die Hard 4. Who knows? Nice pictures nonetheless.

Default Not a US commercial with that lic. plate

Doubtful that it's the movie either for the same reason.

Curious.

Default Why? Audi uses Euro models in ad's all the time and then put a disclaimer

on the ad saying *(Euro model shown)

Even on audiusa.com....

Default There's a difference between using a Euro model and disclaiming and...

putting a Euro license plate on it.

The former happens all the time, like you say, the latter almost never for ads that will run in the US.

Default Did you even go to the audiusa.com site and look?

Every car on the home page has a euro plate.

Default Re: R8 caught in LA during video shoot

I just heard an announcement about closing the 105 freeway for weekends during November in order to do action scenes for Die Hard; so I guess that means it could have been shooting in town for that movie!

Default NOT a photoshoot for Die Hard 4

From Audi of America: "It is not in Die Hard 4. The set was being used to shoot for an internal purpose."
