So I am to understand that this means you can order a euro-spec RS4 Avant, and have it shipped over here? Am I reading too much into this? All this for 5% less than MSRP?

It does not say anywhere that you will be able to do that, in fact it specifically says RS4 is excluded at this time.

People - you can take delivery of your US spec vehicle in Germany, drive it in Europe and turn it in at one of like 15 different spots to be shipped to the US. This is not some loophole to importing non US spec cars.
